Computer Applications Instructor
Height: 6’1”
Age: 34

Kevin recently moved to Knoxville to teach computer application classes and he knows his way around a hard drive. Kevin is sharp witted and has a stellar sense of humor. He’ll keep you laughing while you enjoy talking about movies, travel, sports, good food and outdoor activities. His favorite hangout is Barley’s because it is close to home, always open and non-smoking. Kevin says the main ingredient to a fun night with you would be, “good conversation.” He says, “It could take place almost anywhere but the key is meeting someone engaging you want to know.”

Height: 5’8”
Age: 30

Chris appreciates art and enjoys brewing his on beer. While he’s originally from Ohio, Chris says he likes living in East Tennessee, “Because it is the most beautiful place on the globe.” Bad sci-fi movies bring a smile to his face, “They’re just awful, I can’t get enough.” Chris enjoys hiking and camping and spent his summers in college working as a kayak guide in Alaska. He can’t live without unsweet tea. He says, “it’s so good as it is, why would you need to add anything?” The craziest thing he has ever done was smoke a cigarette as an excuse to talk to a girl (she was smoking at the time). He says, “ it didn’t go well.”

Jonathan owns his own business and founded and operates a non-profit that focuses on veteran employment issues. This downtown kind of guy likes any place on Market Square and is not afraid to talk to anyone about anything including the hot topics like politics. What makes him smile? He says, “The small and thoughtful things, remembering something I said, or something little about me that is random, but you took the time to remember.”

Caleb is new to the area and his dream job is to be a movie director. Perhaps this is why he would most like to meet Clint Eastwood and discuss his amazing life from his acting days to directing movies. He is funny and sarcastic and hopes to meet someone with a good sense of humor. Caleb is a good cook and enjoys trying new restaurants. His music tastes run from Sinatra to My Chemical Romance. The craziest thing he has ever done is to cliff dive in California and his favorite article of clothing is his sunglasses.

Marshall is a world class traveler who speaks Spanish fluently. He has traveled to 26 countries including Europe, Asia and Africa. When asked about his service to the community he says, “I just enjoy being involved, much better than sitting on the sidelines”. His hobbies include: canoeing, hiking, rafting, long city walks and UT football. If he could travel anywhere, he’d like to go to Russia “in the dead of winter.” But get this… he wants to go with a girlfriend and take a romantic sleigh ride!

Art Director/Animator at Scripps Networks Interactive
Height: 5’11”
Age: 44

It sounds like Todd has an amazing life that you might want to be a part of. He travels abroad with his easel and does oil paintings from around the globe. In the last three years, Todd has painted in Ireland, Italy and Germany. He hopes to head to Argentina, Norway, Venice and Poland in the near future. He hates bing cherries and brussel sprouts but enjoys a good dinner at Seasons in Farragut or margaritas at Chez Guevara. His friends describe him as quiet, caring and laid back. He doesn’t lack bravery, however. One of the craziest things he’s done? Todd went cliff jumping at a quarry after graduating from high school.
