Outreach Coordinator sought for Friends of Literacy in Knoxville. Coordinator will work to raise awareness of services available and value of our programs to the community; in addition to assisting with marketing, PR, public speaking, volunteer recruitment and fundraising tasks. Applicant should be self motivated, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, outgoing, and have knowledge or experience with stated job tasks. This is a full-time, one year, national service position offered through the AmeriCorps VISTA program and includes a monthly living allowance, health coverage, education award, relocation allowance, child care, and medical and personal leave.
